Aloo gobi

I made my favourite curry Aloo Gobi, it has potatoes and cauliflower in it, with my mates we all enjoyed it it was yummy.

Sports Group - Marching

What a fun sports group we had this week. Judy came in to teach us how to do marching. It was so funny marching to the music and blowing the whistle. We all had turns being a king or queen and watching the parade too. Ha ha!

Arcade fun

i went to the arcade to complete my virtual reality goal it was fun and I can’t wait to go back again

Sports

In sports I’ve been practicing the Highland games so I get better and better. I really liked stacking the blocks to make a tower and the ring toss.

Mussel fritters

Today we made yummy yummy mussel fritters. I enjoyed making them

Petanque

Sports group played Pétanque at memorial park. It was fun ..... I’ve got better since the last time I played. The balls are heavy!

Waihi gold mine

There was lots to do at the Waihi gold mine. I went on the tour and had the gold experience too. There was lots to read about the mining along the way too.

Aerobics

This week in sport I warmed up with some aerobics. We stretched first and then moved to the beat of the music. I also helped to plan some group activities for the Highland games.

Disco fever

I danced most of the day away at the disco. We had mates come from the other centres who came for a dance too. I had a great day!

Cooking

We learned to make a yummy lemon syrup cake it was delicious

Trucks

Check out this awesome truck that came to the centre. After this I went and looked at some different trucks at the yard and then had a yummy lunch at bake shack with my mates.

Cook

Had a really great session cooking yummy Sweetcorn Fritters. They were really great, must make some more soon.

Sonic Cinema - Mary Poppins

We went to watch the new Mary Poppins movie at the cinema in the historic Village. It was exciting to see it in the cinema. I thought the movie was great! I loved it! We got treated to popcorn and a drink too.....

Trucks everywhere...

Went to the truck guys place and saw some really cool trucks with a few friends from Wilrose.

Easter goodies

Look at all these yummy Easter goodies I might win in the raffle. I am away in Queenstown for Easter but if I win the raffle my friends said they would look after it for me. 🐣🐥🐤

Basketball

We did a fun warm up first and then we played basketball. I shot good some hoops!

Sports fun

I enjoy going out with the sports group. We played lots of ball games ...... I scored some goals with the soccer ball and hit some neat baseballs. Then I needed a rest on the picnic blanket.

Maremma Dogs

Some big, “happy” maremma dogs came to visit the centre. I stroked them - they were soft.

Wilrose Talent Quest

On Friday we had our Wilrose Talent Quest. We have been practicing for it and I did really well with my singing show. I even made it through to the finals YESSSS
