Game Day - Another goal ticked off

I had an awesome fun friendship games day. We got to chose to play scrabble, cards, picture hunt, tumbling monkeys ,word finders and block stacking. What a great morning! Then I finished it off with a murder mystery game! 

Mmmmmm pumpkin pie

I helped to make pumpkin pie for the whole centre to taste on our cultural day. Pumkin pie is a dessert from America. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Beef stir fry

We made beef stir fry in cooking. I helped to whip up the yummy sauce mix. It was scrumptious and really easy to make!

Fun, Friendship and A Game of Tag

I had such a fun day today. I went out to Tye Park and enjoyed the sunshine and some games and chat with my friends and then in the afternoon I had an awesome time playing Line Tag with the sports group.

Quiz Day Pumpkin Soup

What a cool quiz day. I was the quiz master and helped out on the first round of questions. Then I took part in the quiz and answered lots of questions. There was pumpkin soup for lunch too - I didn’t try it but it smelled good.

Sports group - balloon games

I had a fun afternoon with the sports group - we played balloon games and then did some relaxing stretches to cool down.

Quiz day planning

It’s good to be back at the centre to see my friends. I missed everyone while we were all away! This week I am planning a general knowledge quiz round for our Quiz day. I will be the quiz master! 

Happy birthday to me....

 It was my birthday this week. At lunch time everyone celebrated with me and sung happy birthday and gave me a card and muffin. It was a big chocolate muffin and was tasty!

new gate pa park

I went to the new gate pa park on Cameron road which I enjoyed, I had a great explore and a swing with my friend Damon 

Casino Day Fun

We had a fun time with our friends at our casino day ...
 I played some games of cards and bingo and a giant dice game!

Casino shopping

I helped to make a list of things we need for our casino day. Then we went and got the sausages, onions, bread, drink mix and oranges and a few other bits and pieces. I’m looking forward to playing games at the casino day.

Books

I love books. Every morning I like to read a book from the Wilrose library before I get into my sessions.

Mount Maunganui Hot Pools

I had a nice relaxing morning at the Mount Maunganui Hot Pools with my friends. The water was lovely and warm. I also liked driving past the cruise ship on the way into the Mount.

Steamed mussels

I enjoyed making and tasting this yummy mussel recipe. What a good way to end the week!

The Jumanji Movie

I had fun watching The Jumanji Movie at the Sonic Cinema with my friends. It was action packed and funny!

Funday Friday

It is great to be back with my friends at Arohanui. Today we washed the inside and outside of the van, went to the transfer station to drop off our recycling and then to browse in the Gate Pa shops all before lunch!

Relaxing Swim

The Greerton Pool was extra quiet this week so I got to relax in the pool and set up the pool toys. 

Marble Bar

I had a fun outing with my friends at the Marble Bar, we played pool and had a nice cold drink. 

Mount Hot Pools

I had a great time ta the Mount Hot Pools when I went there with my friends for the day. We swam under the mountain! We took our lunch to eat afterwards. It was fun!

Playing Pool - My Time

In “My Time” I sometimes chill with an iPad and today I found a game of pool on one. It’s fun. I have to swipe the screen to pull the pool cue back and the let it go to hit the ball.

Sonic cinema

I enjoyed going to sonic cinema to watch the movie ‘Sing’. I had some popcorn and juice to hav3 while I watched.
