Casino shopping

I helped to make a list of things we need for our casino day. Then we went and got the sausages, onions, bread, drink mix and oranges and a few other bits and pieces. I’m looking forward to playing games at the casino day.

Books

I love books. Every morning I like to read a book from the Wilrose library before I get into my sessions.

Mount Maunganui Hot Pools

I had a nice relaxing morning at the Mount Maunganui Hot Pools with my friends. The water was lovely and warm. I also liked driving past the cruise ship on the way into the Mount.

Steamed mussels

I enjoyed making and tasting this yummy mussel recipe. What a good way to end the week!

The Jumanji Movie

I had fun watching The Jumanji Movie at the Sonic Cinema with my friends. It was action packed and funny!

Funday Friday

It is great to be back with my friends at Arohanui. Today we washed the inside and outside of the van, went to the transfer station to drop off our recycling and then to browse in the Gate Pa shops all before lunch!

Relaxing Swim

The Greerton Pool was extra quiet this week so I got to relax in the pool and set up the pool toys. 

Marble Bar

I had a fun outing with my friends at the Marble Bar, we played pool and had a nice cold drink. 

Mount Hot Pools

I had a great time ta the Mount Hot Pools when I went there with my friends for the day. We swam under the mountain! We took our lunch to eat afterwards. It was fun!

Playing Pool - My Time

In “My Time” I sometimes chill with an iPad and today I found a game of pool on one. It’s fun. I have to swipe the screen to pull the pool cue back and the let it go to hit the ball.

Sonic cinema

I enjoyed going to sonic cinema to watch the movie ‘Sing’. I had some popcorn and juice to hav3 while I watched.

Out with my friends

I had fun visiting the Te Puna Cider Factory. I liked reading the menu and different information about the cider. On the way back to the centre we went to K Mart, I laughed at the dancing Christmas decorations.

Treasure Hunt

I had a fun day on the orchard with my friends, doing my treasure hunt goal. We had to work as a team to figure out the clues, which I liked reading and then dig out the treasure box!

My time and just chillin

Had a really awesome sesh just chillin, playing a game on the iPad and squeezing a stress ball.

Art

Painted some stones with lots of my friends at work today, proud of myself.

Table tennis

I liked having a go at playing table tennis for sports. Sometime it was hard to keep up with the ball but I got some hits in and scored some points.

Sports

Today we went to Memorial Park and did an assault course, it was fun. The best bit was rolling down the hill, I got dizzy and covered in grass, it was just awesome!

Chewy chocolate chip cookies

I really enjoyed making chewy chocolate chip cookies today. I ate two for morning tea..... yum

Quiz Day ........ Winners

We had a quiz day and guess what ........ my team won! Yay! I answered lots of questions. We got to win the championship shield 🛡!

Squash

I had fun going to the squash club and giving having a go at hitting the squishy ball. It was fun watching everyone have a turn. Check me out!
