Fun friendship and games

 I had lots of fun playing different games with my friends on friendship day! I loved playing this minions trouble game. Siren bob made me laugh!!!

Valentine crafts

 I enjoyed Finishing to make these flowers. I used the tape to hold them together. They are going to go into bunches that we can give to people. 

Sustainable bags

 I enjoyed getting creative and made a template to create a sustainable bag. We re going to do things we can at the centre that’s better for our environment. 

Art gallery

 I had a great time going to see the Tauranga Art Gallery. There was a giant golden water feature in the middle of the room and next door they had things about the arena boat disaster which I remember happening 10 years ago! I’m looking forward to going back soon to see the new exhibition. 

Community Outings

I had a nice quiet morning at the Greerton library, I had time to finish my big chapter book. It is great to be back working out at Next Step Gym. We had the upstairs room to ourselves and Casey took us for a workout class. 

Bingo

 It was fun playing a few games of bingo with my friends. I listened for the numbers carefully and called out “Bingo” when my page was filled up. 

2022

 Happy new year! It’s great to be back at the centre to see all my friends. We sat down to plan our cooking sessions. I helped to pick what fruit we are going to put on the fruit kebabs for next week. And we talked abit about hygiene in the kitchen. I coloured in this picture for my personal cooking page.

Building a boat

 This week I put together an electronic project kit. I made a car and a boat. I had to follow the Manual and connect the right wires and pieces together to make the motor go. I put my boat in the sink and watched it zoom around! 

Gingerbread house

 In guys group we went down to the strand to check out the ginger bread house! We were the very first people to put our painted rocks into the rock garden! 

China board

 This week I finished my goal of making a display board of my choice. I had chosen China. I helped to look up some facts. Did you know that China hosted the 2008 Olympic Games? . I think it turned out great!

Drama production

 I had fun going along to see the drama show Peter Pan and Captain Hook. I liked the part where Captain Hook told some funny jokes! 

Fishing at Omokoroa

 I enjoyed going out to Omokoroa with my friends to go fishing. I caught this huge chunk of seaweed! It was a beautiful day. 

Guys Group - Rena Photo Exhibition at The Strand

 I enjoyed seeing the photos of the Rena Shipwreck along the waterfront at The Strand. The guys group had a walk and stopped to check out each photo. 

Rock hunting and hiding

 I had fun going for an outing to Yatton park. It was good getting some fresh air. While I was there I hid some rocks that I had helped to paint and I even found one too. I had a go at balancing on the rope while I was there too! 

Rhubarb crumble

 In lifeskills I helped to make rhubarb crumble. I helped clean out the fridge while it cooked. The best part was eating it. It tasted great! 

Anzac park

 It was fun going to Anzac park to have a play at the park. My favourite was the swing. My friends katiana and I took turns pushing each other around on the spinner. I had a great time.

Glow in the dark mini golf

 I had heaps of fun playing some glow in the dark mini golf with my friends at the centre. I come 2nd place. 

China board

 This week I painted a board bright red for my China display.  I coloured in Chinas flag to put on it and want to put some facts on too!
