 I had a cool time at sonic cinema watching coco. I give it two thumbs up. We all enjoyed it.

Sports at Wilrose

I had fun playing badminton and balloon volleyball. Next time we will try beat our best score of six. 

 

Fun at the mount

I enjoyed going for a walk along the Pilot bay boardwalk and getting a photo with a lime scooter.

 

Rock painting

 I did some rock painting this week so next time we go rock hunting we can hide some new ones. 

Having a swinging time

 Today the sun was out so we took a trip to the park. I jumped on one of the spare swings and swung really high. 

Sonic Cinema

 It was great to be back inside the Sonic Cinema. I liked the new paintings on the walls. We watched Muppets Most Wanted, it had some very funny parts throughout the film.

Katikati museum

I liked going to check out the Katikati museum with my friends this week. There was so much to read about and look at I could of stayed there all day! I enjoyed having a picnic lunch at the park across the road before heading back to the centre.

 

Citz Club

 I had a great time at the Citz Club socialising with my friends. It was nice to join the Connect 20 group for a drink. 

Talent quest

 We are going to be doing a talent quest soon so we have started to have a few practices. I was enjoying singing with my group. I can’t wait until the Talent quest day!!! 

Connect 20 Lunch and Next Step Gym

 I enjoyed going to the Citz club for a social lunch with my friends on Wednesday and then I went to the next step gym on Friday to work it off.

Foodbank

 It was good getting back to help doing some volunteering at foodbank this week. I counted and bagged up the nappies and then bagged up some drinking chocolate. It was good seeing everyone again! 

Fishing

 It was fun going out fishing on the Salisbury wharf. We caught a fish but it was too small so we threw it back into the ocean! I enjoyed my morning out in the fresh salty air. 

Centre shopping

 I enjoyed helping to find items on our list for the centre shopping this week. I was careful of other people when I was pushing the trolley around and then I put all the items up in a pile for the check out lady to scan. 

Feeding the ducks!

 I enjoyed going with my friends to feed the ducks some weetbix. I crumbled it up in my hands and sprinkled it around for the seagulls and ducks. We saw a cute little duckling paddling in the water. Then I couldn’t resist a play on the swing before we left. 

Basketball at Gate pa

 I liked dribbling the ball before taking a shot at the hoop in sports this week. We did a special warm up of bouncing the ball twice and the passing it to the person behind us. 

Drama

 This week I thought I would give drama ago to see if I liked it. It was so much fun! I liked dancing the stage to the music and playing the hat game with hats and the king game that Kim did with us.
